So then in 1966 they returned and won the 24 hours of little Mans. Then they won it again three more times in a row. Then 50 years later, Ford returned to the famous race with a brand new Ford GT. This time the big V-8 was replaced with a 3.5 liter twin-turbo ecoboost V-6 with intercoolers. It won the very competitive gte-pro class and celebrated a triumphant return.
